If it comes easy it usually doesn’t amount to much.
Earl Nightingale
Whoever tells you being a Christian is easy, is a LIAR. Becoming Christian has been the hardest decision in my life — yet the most joyous. It’s not easy, but it is wonderful.
To see the world in a whole new light; to see the kindness and compassion that I missed when I was in the dark; to see the love my Saviour poured out for me on that cross; to see all my Heavenly Father has done for me; it is all worth the suffering and loss that has come with being saved.
If Christianity is easy for you, it probably isn’t amounting to much. Are you glorifying the Lord in everything you do? Are you fighting for the Lord’s will to be done? Are you ON FIRE for the Lord? Are you sharing His Word; preaching His Gospels to everyone you meet?
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:10
Jesus tells us that the world will condemn us because of His name. If we are not being condemned, are we speaking His name?
Christianity is not meant to be easy… but it is meant to be glorious: for our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
