She’s A Flower In A Wasteland is a collection of poems written through the metaphor of a flower blooming all alone in the wasteland of wilted flowers… This collection touches on the sorrow, grief, and pain of a lonely heart, but expresses how important it is to lean on the Lord in the loneliness; to cry out and pray; to listen for His faithful promises He whispers every day.
If you are feeling lost, lonely, afraid, or stuck in some form of a wasteland, then YOU ARE THE FLOWER and I wrote this book for you. Though the world around you may seem dark, you were planted right where you are to blossom with the light and love of the Lord. Though at times it feels like you’re trudging through mud, you will make it to the promised land so long as you keep your faith and trust in God.
Keep going, precious flower, we will get through the wastelands together. I can’t wait to see you in the Garden of Eden, where we will blossom and bloom together, for all of eternity.
With love, A. C. McGuire

Beautiful
A lovely, poetic book of the lonely Christian experience
When I needed it most, this book showed up, as if a gift from God. Thank you to the author for pouring out your soul, being vulnerable, and honest, and pure with us – the readers. I especially enjoyed the way all of the poems flowed as if like the Psalms and of course relating the Christian experience in the point of view of a flower in the wasteland. I also appreciated the reminder that even in the wilderness/wasteland/depressed moments of life, there is still reason to praise our Lord.
