Not Until Someday by Valerie M Bodden
What I love most about Valerie’s books is that you don’t have to read them in order, yet you still want to read each one… Because even though some parts of the stories may be spoiled, the stories themselves are just too good to give up the opportunity to read.
The reason I say this is because I read the first two books of her River Falls series first, and then I read this one… To which the Hope Springs series was written first… Oops.
However, as I said, either way these books and series are read, it truly does not deter you from reading each and every book. And in my personal opinion, I LOVE the order I read these books, because it felt like I got to time travel when I read this one.
I found out about Grace in the River Falls series, and I loved her instantly… even though I only got to see a glimpse into her life. So imagine my excitement when I found out there was a whole book about her story… I was ECSTATIC!
Grace Calvano, a beautiful soul, meets ex-football player, Levi Donovan… Truly the last type of person she ever wanted to get involved with… And yet somehow, Levi turned out to be the person nobody thought he was. Through his journey back to faith and his romance with Grace, we get to see a lovely look into the world of a man who isn’t afraid to fall head first in the deep end of God and love.
Grace, on the other hand, is the perfect character for me to read about, for she’s the person I hope to be in the future… In this book, she’s building her life-long dream of owning a Bed & Breakfast. Levi Donovan of course happens to be the contractor sent to help her literally build this dream. Reading about the journey of building her Bed & Breakfast, made me long for my desired future of owning a Bed & Breakfast myself… Or perhaps just a coffee shop (I haven’t decided yet). Either way, Grace is my all-time favourite character…
I literally wanted to read this book again right after I finished it. I was so sad to put it down, because it felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend.
If you’re a Christian, and looking for some CLEAN romance reads, Valerie M. Bodden’s books are the books for you.
