Astrology is just another way we have worshipped the sun and the stars and the moon and not the Creator of those things.
Why do we worship random things in the sky, rather than the One who created them all?
Astrology is a demonic lie, created so that we may believe that we are who we are because of where the sun, moon, stars and planets were the second we were born. It seems compelling and trustworthy because of all the details placed into it, but the devil is a master manipulator and a master at confusion. It also seems true because so many who know their astrological sign will conform to the details of it, thus creating a false narrative to the whole thing; for when enough people begin to act as their sign says, it seems like a reliable source of information to follow.
The depths of detail and the intricacies of astrology are created in such a way as to confuse, manipulate and distort your God given gifts, talents and characteristics. It wraps you in chains of demonic oppression, having you believe you are a certain way because of your sign: so that you don’t change, because you can’t.
But, of course, that simply isn’t true.
One can always change. Especially with the power, confidence, and grace of our Lord.
