Are YOU A Flower In A Wasteland?

LADIES… THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. Are you feeling like you’re all alone in the wilderness; perhaps a flower in a wasteland?

We are called to be different than the world. We are called to be women of the Word. We are called to be a light in the darkness; the salt of the earth; the disciples of the Holy One.

This calling may cause us to be cast out into the wilderness; the battlefield; the wasteland.

As women, this can be a tough calling because we’re emotional beings. But in our weaknesses, the LORD is strong – He is our strength, protector and provider.

If you’re feeling lost, lonely, afraid, or stuck in some form of wasteland, just know you aren’t alone.

If you’re feeling shattered to pieces in sorrow and grief, just know you aren’t alone.

If you’re feeling forsaken in the wasteland of lost souls, just know you aren’t alone.

You are with the One who holds you, the One who goes before you, and the One who promises to bring you Home to the Garden of Eden in the end.

So don’t be afraid to be the flower you were called to be. Don’t be afraid to bloom in all your beauty and grace. And don’t be afraid to do it all for the glory of the LORD.

If you’re needing some inspiration along your journey as a flower in a wasteland, then check out my latest book called exactly that: ‘She’s A Flower In A Wasteland’

This poetry book is essentially my personal book of psalms. It’s the cries, aches, and pain of my heart. It’s the fearful whispers of my soul, questioning when the darkness, the depression, the brokenness will end. It’s the desperation of a woman just wanting to go Home (you know, our REAL home called Heaven or the Garden of Eden for those who are flowers in the wasteland of earth).

If you feel as though you’re navigating this wasteland of the world alone; if you feel like you’re just trying to survive the harsh storms of life; then I believe YOU are a flower in the wasteland, too… And so then, I wrote this book for you.

A final note:

Though the world around you may seem dark, you were planted right where you are, so that you can blossom with the LIGHT and LOVE of the LORD. Though at times it feels like you’re trudging through mud, you will make it to the promised land, so long as you keep your faith and trust in the LORD. Keep going, precious flower, we will get through the wasteland together. And I CAN’T WAIT to see you in the Garden of Eden, where we will blossom and bloom together, for all of eternity.

God bless you, friend.
