The Tales of Princess Adara Sneak Peak

Story #1 : Princess Adara the Prayer Warrior

Once upon a time in a land far away… There lived a princess who was a prayer warrior. Princess Adara was her name.
She was a strong prayer warrior for her own Kingdom — the Kingdom of Aldebrand — and the Kingdom of God. She prayed for everyone she knew and even those she
didn’t know. She prayed for her mother and father, sisters and brothers, her grandma
and grandpa, and her neighbours. She prayed for her friends and she even prayed for all of the strangers she met throughout her days!

It was nearing the end of summer in the far away lands of Aldebrand. The days were getting shorter, the air slightly
more frigid, and the flowers were slowly drifting into hibernation. However, this day was as bright and sunny and warm as if it was the middle of summer again. Thus, Princess Adara was outside, soaking in the last of the warm days.
She was tending to the flowers at the side of the house, when she seen a carriage coming up the driveway.
“Oh! That must be Roland! How exciting!” She exclaimed out loud. She jumped up excitedly, squealing with delight. “He has returned from the war! Oh! I can not wait to see him!”
Prince Roland was Princess Adara’s brother, whom had gone away for the first time this summer, drafted into the
war. The family was quite anxious to see him again.
Princess Adara ran to the carriage, excited to greet her brother. But it was not the happy greeting she expected. Prince Roland was being escorted on a hospital bed into the castle. His eyes were closed and he looked quite pale. Princess Adara gasped in horror! Her body froze in shock. The only thing that moved was her eyes — from her brother to the doctor that stood at the head of the hospital bed, wheeling
Prince Roland towards the house. The doctor noticed her at once and offered a small smile that was more like a
grimace.
The doctor said, “The Prince is very sick, we must not wake him. He needs to rest.”
As the doctor continued towards the house, the front doors flung open and the King and Queen emerged from the castle, descending the stairs in strides. Princess Adara had never seen her parents move so quickly. They were at Prince Roland’s side at once.
“Oh, my poor boy!” Her mother cried, approaching the side of the bed.
Princess Adara’s…

Story #2 : Princess Adara the Good & Faithful Servant

Once upon a time in a land far away… There lived a princess who was a prayer warrior. Princess Adara was her name.
Princess Adara was a strong prayer warrior for her own Kingdom — the Kingdom of Aldebrand — and the Kingdom of God.
She prayed for her family, her friends, her neighbours and even strangers. She prayed for the food crops and the flowers and all the
animals of the Kingdom. She prayed for everything that has breath, for all things that have breath belong to the Kingdom of God.

The first month of summer had flown by in the Kingdom of Aldebrand. With lots to do and what seemed to be so little time, summer was always much too short for Princess Adara. It had always been her favourite time of year, thus, she tried to take it all in as best as she could. She made sure to spend every day in her rose garden, taking care of the beautiful flowers that graced the earth.
“Hmmmm, that’s strange.” Princess Adara stuck her finger in the dirt at the base of her roses. It was dry all the way down to the tips of her fingers. That wasn’t good. It meant her flowers were quite thirsty and that the ground was much more parched than normal.

“Did I not just water yesterday? You guys look as if I haven’t watered you in three days!” Princess Adara said out loud to her roses.
Princess Adara believed that her flowers could hear her. She believed they could hear her speak and that they responded to sounds around them. She loved to play them classic music like Bach and Mozart every day after watering them. She also sang to them and told them how pretty they were. She told her roses everything she wished to hear herself.
But today, she was asking them questions because she truly did not understand why they were so parched. She didn’t change their routine or miss a watering as of lately. She truly could not figure out what was happening to her
dear roses.
“Oh my dear roses, why are you so dry? Do you wish to make me cry? Or walk around and sigh? Or wish to eat some pie?” Princess Adara giggled at herself.
“We will figure it out, dear roses, and if not, the Lord will protect you in the dryness.”
Princess Adara finished tending to her roses, then turned her attention to the Lord. She bent down on her knees and prayed.
“Lord, thank You for…

Story #3 : Princess Adara Witnesses A Miracle

Once upon a time in a land far away… There lived a princess who was a prayer warrior. Princess Adara was her name.
Princess Adara was a strong prayer warrior for her own Kingdom — the Kingdom of Aldebrand — and the Kingdom of God.
She prayed for her family, her friends, her neighbours and even strangers. She prayed for the babies just born and she prayed for the
elderly people in the lands.

It was a typical summer day for Princess Adara, as she was outside in her rose garden, tending to her flowers. She was thinking… and dreaming… when she
was overcome with what could only be described like a wave of water, but she did not get wet… It was a wave from
the Holy Spirit of God. It placed a thought within her soul: pray for Mrs. Grundle.
Mrs. Grundle was an elderly lady at the retirement home that Princess Adara volunteered at once a week. She was the grumpiest lady the princess ever did meet. She made snide comments, she sneered, and she practically hissed like a cat at anybody who got a little too close to her. Everybody stayed out of her way because everybody was terrified of her. But not Princess Adara. She served Mrs. Grundle with a smile and kindness, just
as she did anybody else.
When Princess Adara got the message to pray for Mrs. Grundle she was surprised at the thought. But not in the way you think.
Princess Adara gasped! “Of course! Why didn’t I think of it sooner? Thanks Lord! I’ll get right on it!” she said out loud.
Princess Adara stopped weeding her roses, clasped her hands together, closed her eyes tight and prayed deeply for Mrs. Grundle.
“Dear Lord, may You hear my prayer for Mrs. Grundle. Lord, please help her heart to be softened like butter so she
may hear Your word and may her ears be able to hear You when that time comes. May You set her free from her grumpiness and bitterness and bring her peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Princess Adara prayed ceaselessly, every day, for Mrs. Grundle from that point forward. Yet, her next few visits to the retirement home were uneventful. It seemed as though nothing had changed within Mrs. Grundle.
But in fact something…
