This movie is about a man making it his duty to save a little boy who lost his mother due to running from the cartel. His mom and him illegally passed the border, trying to run from the cartel, who was after them for something her cousin did.
It’s crazy to me that the cartel care so much when someone crosses them, that they’ll go to the lengths of going after their family. It’s unfortunate that these stories are true, and the people are real in this life. This wasn’t just a movie – an imaginary story – it was real life composed in the safety of “an imaginary story” to make us feel better. But the truth is, this things happen probably every day. People running from the cartel and the government being in on it… Them all being bought out by these evil people.
It’s a movie about “the marksman” killing one of the cartel. His brother made it his mission to avenge his brothers death… Not giving up until he chased this man to his death. A movie with death on every turn and based solely off of revenge, at least in the end the little boy was safe.
As a Christian watching this movie, I wish I hadn’t. It really wasn’t good in the least. The story telling was poor and “cheap” in the sense that the main character did some unintelligent things that I don’t think any one would do. He used his credit card traveling, while knowing that the cartel was after him… I mean come on.
It was a great production quality, of course coming from Hollywood. So if you like guns, the mafia, revenge, and a simple story, then this is the movie for you. But if you need more depth, less murder, and a solid story, then you might not want to watch this.
