Based on 2 Corinthians 12:9, this book is a short little tale of an elephant with big ears who loses his hearing! An angel visits dear Elliot at the park. As the world around him goes silent, he hears the angel say, “God is going to use this for good. Have faith and trust Him.” Elliot the elephant becomes weary and fearful… But not for long! He turns to prayer in no time and surrenders his life to God. God answers, “My grace is sufficient enough for you for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) Elliot awakens the next day filled with peace, as he let go of his desire to hear the world, and instead was perfectly content hearing God’s voice only, for His is the most important voice of all.

This story begins with Jerome the gnome realizing its time to go out on his own and search for his forever home. He gets invited into many gnome’s homes, but quickly realizes that there is sin happening within the walls of each home! One is filled with rude, reckless and rude gnomes. Another is filled with gnomes that worship Zeus – a fake god! The next is filled with a bunch of liars! And the one after that, no gnome let Jerome inside, because they were too fearful… FINALLY, Jerome left the town and decided to take a walk down by the river. He notices a home there with a big ‘J’ on it… He knocked and Jesus answered and invited Jerome the gnome in… And of course, this is where Jerome ends up feeling the most at home, just as anybody does with Jesus Christ.
