Not Until Someday by Valerie M Bodden
A Little Snippet Of What ‘Not Until Someday’ Is All About
Grace Calvano, a beautiful soul, meets ex-football player, Levi Donovan… Truly the last type of person she ever wanted to get involved with… And yet somehow, Levi turned out to be the person nobody thought he was. Through his journey back to faith and his romance with Grace, we get to see a lovely look into the world of a man who isn’t afraid to fall head first into the deep end of God and love.
As for Grace, she has to get over her idea of what her ‘dream husband’ was supposed to look like and accept the man God has placed before her to love. Through the ups and downs of them renovating her Bed & Breakfast together, Grace and Levi learn that perhaps their someday is NOW.
Why I LOVED This Book… So Much That I’ve Read It Twice… So Far
Valerie Bodden is a wonderful writer. She writes in such an easy to read way; that you can’t help but flow through the book in record time. I have to consciously slow down my reading and force myself to put her books down so I can absorb more of the story and enjoy it for longer. But honestly, I can’t help it. I always end up reading her books within a few days after I begin. And then it’s always so sad when I finish. It’s like saying goodbye to an old friend every single time.
Why I love ‘Not Until Someday’ specifically is because I love Grace’s character. I love the way she thinks about others and the way she thinks in general. She’s very intelligent and God-fearing, kind and thoughtful, and just so easy to love. In this book, Grace is building her life-long dream of owning a Bed & Breakfast, which so happens to be quite similar to my dream of owning either a cafe or Bed & Breakfast of my own someday.
Valerie M Bodden Books
What I love most about Valerie’s books is that you don’t have to read them in order. Though you may see the future of a couple who’s story was a few books back, you almost get more excited to read their story when you see the little snippets of them together. (Because, I mean, don’t we all know that the characters end up together anyways in romance novels?)
The reason I say this is because I read the first two books of Valerie’s River Falls series first, and then I found out that she had the Hope Springs series that was written first. So, while the stories intertwine, you’re still very much excited to read them all.
P,S, This is the only book of Hope Springs that connects to River Falls because Grace is the sister of the River Falls clan of boys.
When I read the two River Falls books, I got to see a bit into Grace and her relationship with Levi. So imagine my excitement when I found out they had their own book I got to read! I ordered it right away. And I read it within a couple days.
Why Are Valerie Bodden’s Books So Special?
Personally, Valerie Bodden is one of my favourite authors. As a born-again Christian at the age of 25, it was hard for me to find books to read in my new mental state. I loved romance books, but now despised the sex scenes. But God blessed me with putting Valerie’s books into my grasp fairly early on. I was so excited to find a Christian author who writes clean romance novels, that I jumped right into reading her books.
The only bad thing about reading her books is that you’ll have a hard time finding other Christian authors of the same quality! Truly, Valerie does it the best, as far as I’ve seen in my reading ventures! But hey, if you have any suggestions, I’m more than happy to have some more books to read! Just drop a comment below.
If you’re a Christian, and looking for some CLEAN romance reads, Valerie M. Bodden’s books are the books for you!
