Psalm 73:25-27

“Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Psalm 73:25-27

The enemy knows this is true.

Satan knows that we are untouchable when we confidently know and proclaim that God is our strength and portion forever.

Satan knows that if he can get us to doubt whether God is everything we need, then he can still have control over us, because if our faith is weak, our armour is easily broken down. When we are wavering in our faith, and we’re doubting God, the devil is able to sneak his way into our heads and deceive us. But when we securely and confidently know who our Heavenly Lord is, we gain the strength of not only our faith, but the strength of the Lord, for we are standing behind Him, in the protection of His shadow.

Do not allow the devil even the smallest space to intrude upon. Keep a sober mind, a firm stance, and always put on the armour of God. Beware of his sneaky ways, and if/when he does get through – because there will be times that the devil somehow manages to get through to us – do not completely succumb to his temptations and evil scheming. Once you realize what is happening, declare the name of Jesus over the devil and his stronghold on you. Because even if you fall into temptation, Jesus knows that our flesh and hearts may fail, which is why we must know that only HE IS OUR STRENGTH. So let Him be your strength, in times of weakness, and in all times.

Declare Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life today. Know that He is your strength and portion forever. Know that He is all you need, on earth and in Heaven.

And if you have yet to allow Jesus into your life, pray now that He may show Himself to you. Ask for Him to help you know that He is your strength and portion forever. Ask that you know He is all you need.

May the Lord set you free of the chains of the devil, bringing you all the way into His open arms. Amen.
